This was inspired by the serenity I felt while painting this. The open hand symbolizing letting go and receiving of gods abundance.

Maharani Jind Kaur (also known as Rani Jindan) was one of the most powerful and influential women in Sikh history. She was the last queen of the Sikh Empire, the youngest wife of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, and the mother of Maharaja Duleep Singh, the last ruler of Punjab before the British annexed it.

This was a portrait study done on the expression of agony. The eyes really are the window to the soul. What do you feel when you see this?

This painting was inspired by a video of a young child and cat in a war torn country that I saw on social media. I am not sure which exact country it was. There was beauty in the child's messy hair and the calmness in the cat. The look of love they shared with each other admits their chaotic environment.
"Home Sweet Home" 20x24 - Contact for Sale
"Home Sweet Home" is the triumph of surviving a traumatic childhood home. This little girl survived the burning home (whether the burning house is actually on fire or a metaphor I will leave with the beholder). To many this may seem like the end of a story but to me it looks like the beginning of one. She managed to claw her way out and come hell or high water she was going to save her bunny. Symbolizing that through it all she still managed to save a part of her childhood.
